Location: Lima, Peru (on-site)

Job Type: Full-Time

H&C Construction LLC, a U.S.-based residential remodeling company, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Construction to lead and coordinate construction projects locally in Peru while maintaining direct communication with our management team in the U.S. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and advanced communication skills to ensure successful project execution aligned with both local and international standards.

The ideal candidate will have an academic background in Architecture or Civil Engineering, advanced proficiency in English, and the ability to manage resources, risks, and teams effectively in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight and Execution

  • Lead all phases of residential and commercial construction projects from initiation to closeout.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Supervise daily on-site operations in Lima and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor costs, track expenses, and ensure overall profitability of assigned projects.
  • Guarantee compliance with Peruvian construction regulations, safety protocols, and company standards.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues and deviations proactively.

Communication and Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Peru operations and U.S. management.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and financial updates for management in the U.S.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, vendors, and field teams to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and permitting processes in Peru.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar (preferred).

Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects end-to-end once they have been won, applying recognized methodologies such as PMI standards.
  • Oversee Managed Services, Deploy Services, DaaS, and Asset Recovery Services projects.
  • Ensure proper billing processes are followed, including purchase order (PO) creation and invoice management for customers.

Position overview

Key Responsibilities



- Project Management

• Own and lead projects and operational initiatives end-to-end within the Operations, Support, and IT Administration domains.

• Apply classical (waterfall) project management methodologies, with clearly defined phases: conception, planning, execution, and closure.

• Create and manage project baselines including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and specification documents.

Process and Meeting Management

• Establish and maintain a clear and efficient meeting structure to manage team activities.

• Develop and maintain central tools such as checklists, taskboards and to-do lists to standardize and streamline team processes.

Required Skills:



Expertise in classical project management methodologies is essential, with a proven track record in:

• Waterfall and Hybrid project lifecycles.

• Detailed upfront planning using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Gantt charts, and Critical Path Method (CPM).

• Formal project control techniques, including baseline management, Earned Value Management (EVM), and rigorous change control processes.

• Practical experience with open source project management suites (e.g., OpenProject, ProjectLibre) for creating project structure plans, detailed Gantt charts, and milestone tracking.

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields: Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Project Management

• 5 + years experience in Project management, including 3 + years in team/organizational leadership.

• Proven experience in structured project management, especially in risk-based planning, resource allocation, and budgeting.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage but not required.

• Proven and demonstrable expertise in the core principles of classical project management (as outlined in the PMBOK Guide) is required

• Strong capabilities in upfront planning, including scope definition, scheduling, and documentation.

• Familiarity with IT-related topics is an advantage.

Serás responsable de liderar la gestión integral de proyectos industriales enfocados en la Seguridad de Máquinas en múltiples plantas, asegurando su entrega dentro del alcance, presupuesto y calidad establecidos. El Industrial Project Manager define la estrategia de ejecución, coordina equipos multidisciplinarios y colabora estrechamente con proveedores y áreas internas, desde la fase conceptual hasta la puesta en marcha. Lo que harás

  • Realizar el seguimiento continuo del proyecto, organizando reuniones periódicas con proveedores y equipo de planta, y supervisando en sitio el avance conforme a las especificaciones.
  • Definir las especificaciones técnicas y organizar la estructura del proyecto de construcción, asegurando una planificación alineada con los objetivos del negocio.
  • Preparar comités directivos, monitorear presupuesto y cronograma, gestionar tareas administrativas y coordinar actividades de capacitación para asegurar la eficiencia del proyecto.
  • Analizar ofertas técnicas y económicas, participar en la evaluación final con el área de compras y colaborar en la preparación de contratos para optimizar la contratación.
  • Supervisar las pruebas y la puesta en marcha de equipos, validando que los resultados del proyecto cumplan con los requisitos técnicos, operativos y de seguridad.

Lo que traerás

  • Bachiller en Ingeniería (preferencia en electromecánica, automatización, eléctrica o afines).
  • Experiencia mínima en el campo de la Ingeniería y la Gestión de Proyectos Industriales (5 años)
  • Deseable curso o certificación en Seguridad Funcional de Máquinas (CMSE o equivalente).
  • Experiencia en ingeniería aplicada y gestión de proyectos industriales, desde la fase conceptual hasta la puesta en marcha.
  • Experiencia específica en proyectos de mejora o modernización de la seguridad en plantas industriales (Deseable).
  • Deseable título o especialización en Gestión de Proyectos.
  • Deseable certificación PMP (Project Management Professional) o similar.
  • Inglés – dominio profesional, oral y escrito.
  • Dominio avanzado de Microsoft Office (especialmente Excel y PowerPoint).
  • Manejo avanzado de MS Project.
  • Deseable experiencia con ERP, idealmente SAP.
  • Deseable conocimiento en software CAD (AutoCAD u otros).
  • Liderazgo técnico-operativo, capacidad para dirigir equipos internos y contratistas, orientación al cliente y resiliencia en contextos desafiantes.
  • Manejo de herramientas de análisis de riesgos como EEM y FMEA.

Responsabilidades y atribuciones

Se solicita un Project manager, que pueda Liderar y coordinar la ejecución de proyectos tecnológicos en el área de telecomunicaciones, asegurando la entrega en tiempo, forma, calidad y costo. El Project Manager actúa como punto de contacto entre equipos técnicos, clientes, proveedores y áreas de negocio, garantizando una gestión integral de los recursos y los riesgos del proyecto.

Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Coordinar equipos multidisciplinarios (ingenieros, técnicos, soporte, NOC).
  • Supervisar entregables, KPIs y cumplimiento de SLA.
  • Gestionar documentación del proyecto: actas, plan de proyecto, reportes de avance, cierre.
  • Actuar como enlace entre cliente, áreas técnicas y proveedores externos.
  • Asegurar cumplimiento de normas de calidad, seguridad y regulaciones locales.

Requisitos y calificaciones

Requisitos:

  • Título universitario en Ingeniería Industrial, Telecomunicaciones, Electrónica, Sistemas o afín.

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented
Project Manager
to lead, design, and scale initiatives focused on

What you will do:

Project Management and Development

  • Strategic Design & Scaling:
    Strategically design, execute, and scale geo-focused initiatives to drive systemic change in women's participation in ride-hailing and financial inclusion, ensuring alignment with both LATAM and global strategies.
  • Scalability & Growth:
    Design scalability models from the outset to ensure the sustainable and continuous growth of impact initiatives.
  • Strategy Conversion:
    Assess systemic factors affecting women's engagement, convert these insights into clear strategic roadmaps, and define project goals, main stages, and deliverables.
  • Planning & Governance:
    Responsible for comprehensive project planning, including resource allocation, cost, schedules, and risk management.
  • Execution & Documentation:
    Oversee project implementation according to the approved work plan and manage the creation and maintenance of all internal/external project and reporting documentation.
  • Quality & Deadline Management:
    Ensure all projects are completed within agreed deadlines, allocated budgets, and with the required level of quality.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Resource Management:

  • Research & Analysis:
    Collaborate with the Research team to manage workflow, analyze effectiveness, and oversee the progress, quality, and timing of delivered work and services.
  • Issue & Risk Management:

    Ensure all social projects strictly comply with sustainable impact goals.

What we expect from you:

  • 3–4 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably within the digital sector.
  • Proven experience and passion for social impact or community-related work.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to supervise and coordinate cross-functional team members.
