**Job Description**
AECOM has excellent career opportunities for a creative, highly talented Project Manager with experience in linear works. Based in Lima, the PM will lead and manage all road projects in Peru, managing the technical and administrative resources and activities required for the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives. This position will report directly to the Peru Transportation Director.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Participates in the selection of consultants and preparation of AECOM qualification/experience statements.
+ Promotes a culture of collaboration between the different technical and management teams throughout the project.
+ Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional services agreements and addenda for review by senior management.
+ Leads the project team's and client's compliance with contractual terms and oversees subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
+ Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule and budget and communicates them to project team members; oversees and manages project production to ensure adherence to schedule, budget and quality objectives.
+ Supervises technical professionals, associate project managers and design staff, including workload management and staffing.
+ Monitors and reports on the financial status of the project to the line and country manager.
+ Responsible for leading highway technical teams, with proven ability to find creative solutions to problems requiring design optimization and project supervision services.
+ Reviews project technical documents and other design deliverables to ensure optimum quality and on-time delivery.
+ Plans complex highway projects, develops programs, establishes and manages acquisition, working capital and financial performance plans.
+ Ensures that projects are executed according to plan and budget.
+ Becomes familiar with the operation of the company and the business economic environment.
+ It reports any problems faced by the company while anticipating and preventing unexpected situations.
+ Acts as project leader while being involved in the details of the job.
+ Takes a proactive approach to help the company solve problems.
+ Responsible for the accounting interface to ensure timely and accurate preparation and upload of estimates at the time of project completion (EAC).
+ Validates the accuracy of project revenue recognition at the end of each month.
+ Coordinates responses to client audit requests.
+ Reviews significant project results and variances with the project accounting team.
+ Responsible for driving working capital management and reporting, by achieving cash flow targets, participating in capital expenditures and seeking cost effective solutions to ultimately instill a treasury culture.
+ He directs and manages all design entrusted to AECOM, guides his subordinates, enforces company and project policies, and is the main liaison between AECOM and its partner.
+ Responsible for ensuring that all facets of the project are carried out in accordance with Peruvian government regulations and international best practices; responsible for scope identification; responsible for the preparation, approval and management of the budget, project schedule and risk management.
+ Overall responsibility and management of the project, including, but not limited to, proposal development, staffing phase, subcontracting of work, production of equipment, coordination between teams, quality of work received and delivered to the client, and contract closure.
+ He is the main economic-financial responsible of the project, the key link with the project partner and the visible face of AECOM before the final client.
+ Reports to country management and Latin America management, whether requested or necessary.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with more than 6 years of experience, including at least 5 years in positions of responsibility in highway team management and project management.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English are a must
+ Able to develop, integrate and budget proposals for road projects, requesting specific support from technical teams when necessary.

**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with master's degree in civil engineering, with more than 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in positions of responsibility in highway team management and project management.
+ PMI Certification.

+ Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
+ Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Civil engineer, architect, or a profession related to the type of project, with a + 8 YORE as Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Project Director in infrastructure or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Including Five (5) years of specific experience in hospital infrastructure, clinics, research institutes, and laboratories.
+ Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or another equivalent international certification demonstrating their expertise in Project Management.
+ Experience with healthcare projects.

**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Delivery Project Executive in IBM Technology Expert Labs, you will play a pivotal role in driving both client success and business expansion. You'll lead a team of top-tier technical experts to design, deliver, and optimize solutions that not only meet-but exceed-client expectations. Your leadership will ensure projects are executed with precision, aligning with strategic goals, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
But your impact goes beyond delivery. You will act as a strategic partner to our most valued clients, identifying new opportunities to expand IBM's footprint within existing accounts. Through deep client engagement and a consultative approach, you'll uncover unmet needs, propose innovative solutions, and grow our portfolio of services-turning satisfied clients into long-term, high-value relationships.

A typical day in this role may include, but is not limited to:
* Project Leadership: Designing and executing comprehensive project plans that cover financials, scope, change management, deliverables, and communication strategies.
* Strategic Communication: Engaging effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and trust throughout the project lifecycle.
* Performance & Value Tracking: Monitoring key metrics-project health, financial performance, team productivity, and client satisfaction-to ensure delivery excellence and identify growth opportunities.
* Client Advocacy & Influence: Acting as a trusted advisor by resolving challenges, mitigating risks, and guiding clients toward strategic outcomes that unlock additional value.
* Team Empowerment: Building and nurturing high-performing teams that thrive under pressure and deliver results with agility and collaboration.

Agile Delivery Leadership: Proven success in applying agile methodologies to deliver complex projects with speed, flexibility, and precision-ensuring rapid time-to-value for clients while adapting to evolving business needs.
Strategic Communication & Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across all levels of client organizations-from technical teams to C-suite executives. Skilled in navigating challenging conversations and driving consensus toward impactful outcomes.
IBM Technology Expertise: High-level understanding of IBM's software and hardware portfolio, including hybrid cloud, automation, AI, data management, infrastructure, and security solutions. Able to position IBM's integrated capabilities as strategic enablers of client transformation and long-term value creation.
Business Growth Enablement: While not directly responsible for sales, you will play a key role in identifying and enabling growth opportunities within existing accounts. By aligning delivery outcomes with client strategy, you'll help expand IBM's footprint and contribute to revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring satisfaction, trust, and long-term partnership development.
End-to-End Delivery Oversight: Lead all phases of project execution-from initiation and planning to delivery and closure-ensuring alignment with client goals and IBM standards.
Financial Governance: Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability with discipline, ensuring projects meet financial targets and contribute to account growth.
Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify risks and apply mitigation strategies using industry frameworks such as ITIL or PMI, ensuring delivery integrity and client confidence.
Strategic Alignment & Value Creation: Translate client business objectives into actionable delivery plans, ensuring every engagement drives measurable value and opens doors for future growth.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Project/Program Management Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, CMMI, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Management, demonstrating structured delivery expertise and commitment to industry best practices.
* Broad Technology Exposure: Experience working across a wide range of technology solutions, with the ability to understand and align technical capabilities to client needs and business outcomes.
* Analytical & Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical thinking combined with effective communication and negotiation skills, enabling successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders and resolution of complex challenges.
* Intermediate English Proficiency: Comfortable communicating in English in both written and verbal formats, supporting collaboration across regional and global teams.
