Legal Entity Controller
(LEC) is looking a new intern.
The Legal Entity Controller (LEC) team is responsible for the local and corporate books and records of all JPMorgan vehicles in Peru, as well as the control and issuance of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, ensuring they reflect the economic reality of the business.
Peru Legal Entity Controller intern will be based in Peru and report and support the Legal Entity Controller team in activities related to financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and high quality in the corresponding deliverables. It also supports the implementation of new initiatives and products
Jobs Responsibilities
Collaborates/Support LEC team with:
- Internal reports
- Selected reports to be presented to different regulator (SBS, BCRP, SMV)
- Update/preparation of SOP's of the different LEC processes that include local regulatory reports (changes, processes, etc.), UAT processes, invoicing, etc
- Information request for external/internal auditors or regulator
- Implementation of new initiatives, products and process automation
- Other tasks requested by SCBM or LEC team
- Include rates and counterparties in the system daily
- Track regulatory reports prepared and submitted during month end
- Track JIRA's opened
- Analyzes and participates in the implementation of regulatory changes
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Student from Accounting, Administration, Economics career or similar (since 9th cycle)
- Proficiency in Spanish and English;
- Part-time availability (30hs per week)
- Availability to work in Lima, Peru
- Proficient in MsExcel and/or MsAccess. Visual Basic knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge in financial products (derivatives) is a plus
- Experience with automatization tools / data management tools is a plus

Responsabilidades y Funciones
- Desarrollo de diversas actividades que soportan la ejecución de proyectos de consultoría, tales como: análisis de datos y documentos técnicos, elaboración de gráficos estadísticos y tableros visuales, desarrollo de flujogramas de procesos, etc.
- Revisión y entendimiento de información de proyectos, principalmente minero-metalúrgicos, en todas sus disciplinas y a través del ciclo de vida de un proyecto (Proyectos de transformación, excelencia operacional, transacciones, gestión de activos, etc.)
- Soporte y participación en proceso de resolución de problemas de servicios en curso, así como en el desarrollo de propuestas para clientes potenciales

- Egresados 2025 de ingeniería (química, metalúrgica, mecánica, electrónica, minas, civil e industrial) y economía, pertenecientes al 5to superior
- Profesionales proactivos con pensamiento crítico, habilidades analíticas y de comunicación excepcionales
- Capacidad para desevolverse de forma autónoma y colaborativa en un ambiente de equipo y con personas de todos los niveles de una organización
- Inglés avanzado, escrito y oral.
- Alta capacidad de análisis y resolución de problemas cuantitativos
